Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Trauma Ortho Progressive Care Unit. You will care for orthopedic and complex medical patients, participate in shared governance, and engage in quality initiatives within a Level 1 Trauma center environment.

This Part Time Night position works 2–12 hour weekend day shifts and offers time-and-a-half for weekend hours. Saint Luke’s values collaboration, learning, and excellence in patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Applicable Experience: 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree.

Aufgaben

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
