ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Trauma Program. You will collaborate with trauma attendings, surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedics, and trauma hospitalists to deliver care using established protocols.

The role includes leading verification and designation activities for Level 1 status and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives. In addition to day shifts, the position requires evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as part of a

Qualifications

• Master's degree as an APRN or ARC-PA accredited program.
• License or license eligible for NP or PA in Delaware.
• Acute Care NP license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in the acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with trauma attendings, surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedics, and subspecialists in trauma care.
• Facilitate Level 1 Trauma Center verification and designation initiatives.
• Lead performance improvement, injury prevention efforts, and teaching opportunities.
• Assume evening, weekend and holiday obligations.
