Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Trauma Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the medical team. The RN will support pre-operative and post-operative care, advocate for patients, and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires ACLS/BLS within 30 days, NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days, and RN licensure with a bachelor’s or associate degree.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS required within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical provider.
• Document care in medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and med-surg patients.
