Job summary

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, seeks an RN for the Trauma Medical Surgical Unit (Night shift). You will provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians, and coordinate patient care across the continuum.

New grads welcome! A sign-on bonus is available to eligible applicants. The unit is fast-paced with high turnover and strong teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Plans and coordinates care, patient assessment, and teaching.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) for individualized patient care.
