The successful candidate will have a nursing diploma or BSN, RN license in PA, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice; collaborate with patients and families in care planning.
• Cultural awareness of diverse backgrounds; ability to connect effectively.
• Effective communication to convey and interpret information with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care; ability to implement a treatment plan.
• Knowledge of medication administration and prescription considerations.
• Discharge planning knowledge and arranging post-discharge needs.
• Assessment and diagnosis knowledge and clinical judgement.
• Health information documentation proficiency.
• BLS – Basic Life Support; AHA standards.
