Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, UT seeks a Full-Time Therapist to deliver trauma-informed therapy to youth in the New Vista Program. You will treat adolescents facing abuse, neglect and other adverse experiences, offering day treatment and outpatient services to build healthier futures.

Position includes collaboration with NOJOS-certified therapists for sex-specific treatment where needed. Schedule: Tue-Fri 8:00 AM–6:00 PM; Compensation: $30.26–$44.47/hour DOE and Licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT or ability to obtain before start.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapy.
• Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds and teams.
• Strong documentation skills and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect clinical services to youth with behavioral health needs.
• Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.
• Complete intake assessments, interviews, and ongoing documentation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain and manage an assigned caseload and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to support outcomes.
• Assist with permanency planning and client advocacy as needed.
