Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but training available.
• Ability to care for and earn the respect of youth.
• Sensitivity to cultural differences in client population.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every youngster.
• Provide opportunities for youths to learn and improve social skills using trauma-informed care in a therapeutic environment.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation, reports, log narratives and other assigned writing.
• Work cooperatively with other staff and attend all assigned meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Intervene in crisis situations by responding appropriately.
