The Key Program, Inc in Fall River, MA is hiring a Residential Caseworker (Youth Counselor) to join a trauma‑informed residential program serving adolescent males referred by the MA DCF. The role offers an hourly wage and a full-time schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or associate degree.
• 1 year of human service experience with college coursework.
• Two years of human service experience with a high school diploma/GED/HiSET.
• Must be 21+ and have a valid driver's license with an insured car.
• Commitment to FA/CPR/AED, MAP and CPI trainings.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth to build positive, trauma‑informed relationships using a strength-based approach.
• Work with a team of Youth Counselors to provide supervision, engagement and advocacy.
• Facilitate individual and group instruction for social and life skills development.
• Assist youth in achieving treatment plan goals and provide care in health, education, vocation, legal and family advocacy.
• Perform MAP‑related medication administration and advocacy after MAP certification.
• Coordinate and participate in creative and therapeutic recreational activities.
