Hillcrest seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a residential program in Lenox, MA. The Highpoint program provides on-site year-round educational services within a trauma-informed setting for male students aged 11-21 with diverse mental health needs.

Ideal for new graduates or waiver-eligible candidates, offering mentorship and financial support, with a Bachelor's required and a Master's desired. Licensure in SPED preferred; waiver options available. Salary range noted below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required; A Master's Degree highly desired.
• Experience working in a special education setting with children is highly desired.
• License in grade-level appropriate Special Education, Moderate Disabilities, Severe Disabilities or a related field is preferred; waiver path may apply.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, reviews, and improves the educational program for students in alignment with agency policies and Department of Education regulations.
• Fosters a safe, creative learning environment where students can achieve academic and social success.
