Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant training and experience in human services or related field.
• Ability to recruit, supervise and manage performance of staff.
• Must obtain certifications within first 3 months: First Aid, NY State Security Guard License, Fire Guard Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach in work.
• Ensure staff meet expectations when responding to residents' needs.
• Monitor intake calls and assure immediate safety needs.
• Provide crisis intervention, mediation and de-escalation skills.
• Ensure regular health and safety checks occur.
