Job summary

Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) seeks a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Clinician (PMHNP or Psychiatric PA) to join our integrated care team in Marion and Asheville, NC. The provider will assess, diagnose, prescribe, and adjust interventions for pediatric and adult patients with trauma-informed care in an FQHC-PCMH setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with behavioral health and primary care teams, with preference for dual-diagnosis experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited master's program in PMHNP or PA Psychiatry and current licensure.
• Eligibility for NC NP/PA license and DEA license.
• Active BLS and related certifications within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, prescribe and modify interventions for patients.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and primary care teams in a PCMH setting.
• Provide trauma-informed care for substance use and mental health disorders.
