Job summary

Portland Mental Health & Wellness in Portland, OR is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist (Licensed Psychologist, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker) for part-time work with remote flexibility. You will provide individual and group therapy, support trauma-informed care, and coordinate with primary care and other clinicians.

The role features a flat rate compensation model based on licensure, onboarding around three months, and a minimum of 10 encounters per week.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in psychology, counseling, or related field, or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited university
• Appropriate board approved licensing, current and unrestricted
• Demonstrate competence and humility across race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, class, ability, etc.

• Professional and effective communication with patients and clinicians

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic assessment considering social, cultural, and historical contexts
• Co-create personalized care plans with patient autonomy and priorities
• Use evidence-informed and culturally-responsive practices
• Collaborate with community-based specialists and other healthcare providers
• Engage in ongoing education and self-reflection on systemic injustices
• Obtain informed consent prioritizing patient safety
• Inform patients of their rights and provide advocacy when needed
• Keep patient records confidential and secure
• Address impact of systemic oppression on mental health
• Use trauma-informed approach prioritizing safety and empowerment
• Respect patient, family, and community wisdom and participation
• Engage in self-care to mitigate vicarious trauma
• Participate in culturally-responsive supervision and training
• Ensure policies respect autonomy and safety
• Advocate for systemic change to increase access to care
• Attend PMHW clinical consult groups at least twice per month
• Clinical encounter expectations: minimum 10 encounters per week, 2 new intakes per day during caseload build
