Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Special Education) or related field is required.
• Middle Grades Special Education Certificate is required.
• Valid Rhode Island teaching certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and registered/inspected vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student learning and deliver academic instruction aligned with the curriculum.
• Create a positive learning environment conducive to the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with the curriculum including differentiated instruction.
