Job summary

Skyway Behavioral Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Float Therapist to support PHP, IOP, and OP levels. You will deliver trauma-focused and DBT-based therapies, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care.

Qualifications include a graduate/doctoral degree and licensure eligibility in LMFT, LPC, or LSW. The role requires flexibility to cover multiple sites and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate or doctorate degree (MA, MS, PhD, or PsyD) required or eligible for licensure.
• Must have provisional license or be license eligible (LMFT, LPC or LSW).
• Exceptional organization skills and reliability.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to float to multiple worksites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and covers group psychotherapy including DBT and trauma treatment.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy as assigned.
• Review client charts and treatment plans before interventions.
• Coordinate with treatment teams and external providers.
• Maintain timely progress notes and complete documentation.
