Job summary

Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Inc. (CCLA) is seeking two Paralegals to support the Family Law & Victims of Crime Unit.

You will assist with intake, case management, discovery, e-filing, calendaring, and drafting pleadings under attorney supervision, with a focus on vulnerable survivors. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; associates degree in paralegal studies or related field and at least two years in family law; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Adobe Pro.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in paralegal studies or related field; parity for relevant work experience considered.
• Paralegal certification and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2+ years in family law advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to clients under attorney supervision.
• Assist with intake and interviewing of clients.
• Manage case files and maintain contemporaneous notes and timekeeping.
• Conduct discovery, e-filing, calendar deadlines, and draft pleadings.
