Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, MFT, psychology, or related behavioral health.
• Specialized training in Equine-Assisted Therapy or Equine-Assisted Learning.
• Licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective equine-assisted therapeutic interventions tailored to treatment goals.
• Facilitate individual and group sessions to promote emotional regulation, self-awareness, and recovery skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate therapy into overall care plan.
• Monitor safety of patients and horses; adapt activities based on progress and risk.
• Maintain documentation and ensure HIPAA-compliant, accurate records.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
