Job summary

HeartShare in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Clinician for the Children’s Outpatient Mental Health Program. You will provide trauma-informed therapy to children and families in a 12 PM – 8 PM schedule, deliver individual, group, and family therapy, and ensure documentation complies with OMH and agency standards.

Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, coordinating with schools and partners, and supporting interns under supervision.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree required.
• LMSW or LCSW license in NY state required.
• Minimum of two years of mental health experience.
• Bilingual Spanish-English.
• Strong clinical and trauma-informed care skills.
• Proficient with EHR and documentation requirements.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and engage families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans per OMH regulations.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR in a timely manner.
• Engage parents and caregivers through regular communication and psychoeducation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and supervision sessions.
