Job summary

Evergreen Recovery Centers is seeking a Child Care Assistant to support classroom activities and provide nurturing care to infants and preschool children in a therapeutic Early Achievers program. The role involves interacting with mothers in recovery and assisting staff with daily treatment activities.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, assisting with drills, maintaining a clean environment, and upholding HIPAA and related policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience working with children preferred but not mandatory.
• Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications, and food handler’s card.
• Active Washington State Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teacher’s curricula and activities.
• Provide nurturing care to an infant or preschool child in a therapeutic program.
• Assist with maintaining equipment in proper working order and safety guidelines.
• Participate in training programs and required meetings.
