Job summary

The Specialized Behavioral Health Resource Parent Support Worker (SBH RPSW) role at Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM) in Philadelphia focuses on training, support, and coaching for SBH Resource Parents to sustain stable homes for children and youth.

Responsibilities include coordinating with CUA Case Managers, completing required trainings, maintaining caseloads, conducting home visits, and developing crisis and support plans to ensure safety and well-being in the home.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage a caseload and coordinate with multiple agencies.
• Experience with trauma-informed care preferred.
• Strong communication and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly one-hour supervision.
• Maintain a maximum caseload of 14 children/youth.
• Complete 40 hours of training in year 1 and 20 annually thereafter.
• Conduct initial and quarterly home inspections.
• Provide face-to-face support to RPs at least twice monthly.
• Develop and implement crisis and RP support plans within required timelines.
