Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA, seeks a full-time experienced ICU Registered Nurse for the Surgical Trauma ICU on the night shift. 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly, with sign‑on and relocation bonuses offered.

The Trauma ICU is a high-acuity 18-bed unit serving severely ill trauma patients, supported by a comprehensive trauma program and rapid response teams. Candidates should have a BSN, Virginia RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS preferred and must be obtained within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an ICU RN.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months).
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.

Responsibilities

• Invasive hemodynamic and/or cardiac monitoring.
• Massive Transfusion Protocol.
• Intracranial pressure monitoring.
• Intubation and mechanical ventilation with or without advanced modalities.
• Intravenous administration of vasoactive medications.
• Post‑operative recovery for extensive surgical procedures.
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
