Responsibilities

• Hold Trauma Care follow-up calls within 48 hours of discharge, catching problems while they're small
• Walk the Greenville, SC floor at handoff, laying eyes on every patient before you sign out
• Stage the resuscitation bay each shift — airway, access, meds — so nothing is hunted mid-code
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and rounds
• Build rapport with anxious patients before Specimen Collection procedures, lowering both pulse and fear
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize cases by acuity
• Run point on Change Management education days, translating clinical guidance into language patients keep
