Job summary

Joseph J. Peters Institute in Center City, Philadelphia, seeks evaluators to conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations for participants in its Survivor Services program.

Evaluations are performed in person by a multidisciplinary team and may be completed remotely if desired. These independent contractor roles require a master’s degree in clinical mental health, liability insurance, and the ability to meet tight reporting timelines (comprehensive reports within 14 days).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical mental health discipline from an accredited program.
• Must maintain own professional liability insurance.
• Evaluations conducted per JJPI guidelines and under supervision of a psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations (CBE) for children, adolescents, and adults as part of a team and under supervision.
• Interview participants and other parties involved in care.
• Administer psychometric measures and interpret results.
• Write and submit a comprehensive evaluation report within 14 days of the evaluation date.
• Provide communication to all stakeholders as clinically appropriate and as required by funders and regulators.
• Document all services and communication in JJPI records and policies.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records on all cases.
• Participate in required group consultation once per week (virtual; multiple time options).
