The Department of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in Milwaukee seeks a board certified / board eligible Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon to join Froedtert Hospital. This is a full-time faculty position located in Milwaukee, WI with a strong emphasis on clinical care and academic pursuits.

The role includes education of fellows, residents, and medical students, engagement in quality and safety, and advancing MCW’s research and educational missions within a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• State medical licensure or eligibility to obtain license in Wisconsin.
• Experience in academic medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Full-time faculty position in the Division of Trauma/Acute Care Surgery.
• Participate in clinical education of fellows, residents, medical students and other trainees.
• Contribute to patient-centered delivery of care with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Advance academic, research and educational missions of MCW.
• Provide robust support for clinical research.
