Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Trash Technician for the Ochsner Shreveport location. The role involves collecting, transporting, and properly disposing of trash and bio-hazardous waste according to safety protocols, with rotating weekends and a three-day schedule.

Training is provided for those with no experience. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, and benefits are available for full-time and part-time team members.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

• We are hiring immediately for part time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: Ochsner Shreveport - 1541 Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA 71103. Note: online applications accepted only.
