Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a nationwide facility service provider and member of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time Trash Technician at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC 29730. The role runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with openings at other district sites as noted.

A minimum of 1 year of trash technician experience is required. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, and SSC offers a comprehensive benefits package, training and growth opportunities, and same-day

• We are hiring immediately for a full time TRASH TECHNICIAN position.
• Location: Winthrop University - 701 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29730. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3;30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: 1 year of experience as a trash technician.
• Pay Range: $16.00per hour to$16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
