Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Trash Technician at LCMC Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. No experience is required; training will be provided.

The position offers a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour and includes rotating weekends and holidays as part of a full-time schedule. You will collect and transport trash and bio-hazardous materials, follow safety procedures, and support cleaning duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
