Job summary

Planned Companies in San Francisco, CA is hiring friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to clean common areas and bathrooms in residential and commercial properties.

You will ensure tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy and safe environment to live or work in, and you should be polite, thorough and observant to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience in roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
• Assisting building management with all projects and all other job duties as requested.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday Time: 6:00am- 2:30pm

Location: San Francisco, CA.

So, Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is looking to hire friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services. You’ll be ensuring tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy and safe property to live or work in. It’s important to be polite and respectful as well as thorough and observant of what more can be done to provide the highest level of service.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
