Job summary

Transporting Logistics is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Night Driver for Hutchins/Wilmer, TX. You will run a 250-mile local radius, mostly drop-and-hook freight, and be home every day on a Tue–Sat night schedule. Enjoy night-shift work with weekend/holiday duties as needed.

You’ll earn about $1,000–$1,100 gross weekly, with a pay matrix of $0.55 per mile plus $29 per load and $20 per stop, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must live within 30 miles of Hutchins, TX.
• At least 6 months of verifiable OTR in the last 12 months.
• Clean MVR and background; DOT physicals, hair tests, and urine screenings cleared.

Responsibilities

• Drive local container haul within a 250-mile zone with drop-and-hook freight.
• Work a night shift schedule (Tue–Sat) and be home daily.
• Operate slip-seat day cabs with container chassis and minimal live loading/unloading.

What You Will Be Pocketing:

• Weekly Earnings: Pull in a dependable $1,000 to $1,100 gross every single week.
• Detailed Pay Matrix: Base mileage at $0.55 CPM (scales with your experience), plus an extra $29.00 per load and $20.00 per stop.

Your Schedule & The Run:

• Home Every Day: Work a Tuesday through Saturday night shift schedule (with weekend and holiday work as needed) so you are never away from home for long.
• The Work: Slip-seat day cabs running container chassis within a 250-mile zone. Expect mostly drop-and-hook freight with minimal live loading and unloading.

Who Qualifies:

• A valid Class A CDL and live within 30 miles of Hutchins, TX.
• Experience Requirements: Open to qualified trainees and experienced drivers with at least half a year of verifiable OTR background over the last 12 months.
• Clean MVR and background check, alongside successfully cleared DOT physicals, hair tests, and urine screenings.
