Job summary

Compass Health Network in Clinton, Missouri, is seeking a Transporter for our Wellbeing Center to provide safe, timely transportation for clients. This role is a split shift (6:00am-10:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm) totaling 40 hours per week, supporting theWellbeing Center with day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Ability to possess cognitive, organizational, and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors required.
• At least one-year experience in customer service or health-related field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients, following all traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Plan efficient pick-up and drop-off routes for maximum efficiency.
• Keep agency vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
• Complete routine vehicle inspections and maintenance logs.
• Maintain professional, respectful communication with passengers and staff.
• Respond calmly to emergencies or crises, offering support as needed.
• Support Wellbeing Center operations, including assisting with day-to-day needs and conflict resolution when necessary.
• Communicate updates regarding members with supervisors and staff as appropriate.
• Work in various weather conditions and flexible scheduling situations.
• Follow all agency guidelines regarding van use, documentation, and confidentiality.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements

At least one-year experience in customer service or health-related field preferred

Experience With Management Of Transportation Programs Preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Must have a valid Class E Missouri driver’s license upon hire
