Minimum Requirements

1. A valid Indiana Chauffeur, Public Passenger Chauffeur, or passenger CDL with a good driving record
2. Full BMV Report
3. Criminal background check; other checks may be required prior to hiring
4. Pre-employment drug screening may be requested

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and care for assigned vehicle responsibly
• Respond promptly to transportation calls from dispatch
• Be familiar with local geography and facilities for efficient transportation
• Follow all Trans-Care policies and procedures
• Protect patient privacy according to laws and policies
• Report privacy concerns and policy violations
• Participate in privacy and safety training
• Observe all safety procedures related to vehicle operation and customer safety
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times
• Check and be responsible for all vehicle equipment
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, wearing the Trans-Care uniform
• Operate vehicle under Indiana laws and company policies
• Complete and submit all required documentation at end of shift
• Report vehicle issues promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
