Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Transporter to move patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital using carts, wheelchairs, and beds. You will assist technologists and nurses in moving patients to exam tables and ensure required forms are completed by all staff.

You may perform clerical tasks and keep transport equipment clean. The role requires current BLS certification and prior patient care experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Provider.
• Education: None
• Experience: Prefer some hospital or clinical experience.

When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Performs a variety of clerical activities. Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment.

II. Position Requirements

• Licensure/Certification/Registration:
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Education: None
• Experience: Prefer some hospital or clinical experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Prior patient care experience desirable.
