Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery activities, staff management, compliance, safety, and customer service.

This hands-on role focuses on optimizing routes, monitoring performance, and maintaining robust safety practices. You will coordinate with Safety and other teams, conduct site visits, train staff, and address issues through clear communication and timely actions. The role requires flexibility for non-traditional hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related supervision or delivery experience.
• Knowledge of federal safety regulations (DOT/OSHA) and basic reports interpretation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily work and safety of delivery associates, ensuring adherence to procedures, routes, and safety standards.
• Ensuring compliance with government regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA) and accurate record keeping.
• Managing labor hours, supplies, work schedules, and asset utilization.
• Organizing repairs, reviewing productivity reports, and implementing efficiency improvements.
• Enforcing company policies, training staff, and addressing customer issues through site visits and communication.
• Maintaining associate relations, morale, and engagement through meetings and open communication.
• Coordinating with Safety for training, inspections, and investigations; handling disciplinary actions and staff development.
• Performing related duties, including operational tasks and staff supervision.

• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.

Work Environment: Moderate noise, occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, mechanical parts, confined spaces, and airborne particles. Requires flexibility for non-traditional hours and travel as needed.
