Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Regional Transportation Supervisor to lead daily transportation operations at a Petco Distribution Center.

You will plan loads, manage carrier performance, and serve as a trusted partner to stores and DC teams, ensuring shelves stay stocked for pets and pet parents. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in distribution or transportation management, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in distribution or transportation management; transportation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.

As a Regional Transportation Supervisor, you will lead daily transportation operations at one of Petco’s Distribution Centers, keeping freight moving and our Pet Care Centers stocked for the pets and pet parents who count on them. You will plan and build loads, manage carrier performance, and serve as a trusted partner to our stores and DC teams.

What You Will Do

Work Location and Schedule

This is an onsite position based at the assigned Petco Distribution Center. Work schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Work Environment

Most duties are performed indoors in an office setting within the Distribution Center, with regular exposure to the warehouse environment, including heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise. Up to 25% travel by automobile or airplane is required to visit other Distribution Centers and Pet Care Centers.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in distribution or transportation management; transportation experience preferred
