Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Lisle, IL. You will work with experienced engineers on bridge and structure projects, performing analyses and developing calculations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a ABET-accredited civil engineering degree with a structural focus, and have familiarity with MicroStation/AutoCAD, Word and Excel. Field inspection and collaboration with PMs and PEs are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program, with a concentration in structural engineering.
• Computer proficiency with Word and Excel
• MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
• Understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and design standards
• Valid Driver’s License
• Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not available for this position.
