Job summary

In Pact Inc. is seeking a driver to transport developmentally disabled individuals in Indiana. The role requires ensuring health and safety, supervising passengers during transport, and implementing behavior plans in compliance with traffic laws.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, HCSP Certification, a valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record, and be at least 18 years old. No felonies or abuse/neglect convictions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of our individuals during transport.
• Transport developmentally disabled individuals.
• Provide supervision to individuals while in transport.
• Implement all relevant behavior plans.
• Follow all relevant traffic laws and rules of the road.
• Maintain a safe driving record at all times.
• Provide basic preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Provide on-call back up to other drivers in case of illness or vacation.
• Follow a set schedule to ensure promptness of service.
• Participate in training and in-services.
• Other duties as requested.
