Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kyle is seeking a Transportation Specialist to provide safe transportation for individual clients in PAM Health vans. You will ensure secure loading and unloading, assist with wheelchair access as needed, and perform related duties to support daily operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license, and current BLS certification.

The Transportation Specialist provides safe transportation for individual clients in vans provided by PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred and completion of driver education course from an accredited curriculum. Valid State Driver's License. PAM Health follows the DMV laws of each state and that each person is responsible and required to abide by the local law. (Class D license required in Louisiana.) Current BLS certificate.
• Experience: Must be at least 21 years old (per insurance coverage requirement). Completion of defensive driving school within last 2 years preferred. Prior work history with wheelchair use in vans or with special needs children.
