The Transportation Services Resource Advisor role provides critical administrative, customer service, scheduling, and operational coordination support within a fast-paced garage environment. This position operates in a highly reactive setting, responding to real-time equipment issues, breakdowns, road calls, changing priorities, and customer needs. The role serves as a key communication link between customers, shop personnel, supervisors, foremen, vendors, and business partners while helping maintain accurate records, work order documentation, scheduling updates, and operational support processes. Success in this position requires strong organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, customer focus, and the ability to adjust quickly as priorities change. This position works in a garage and office environment and may require frequent interaction with shop personnel, customers, vendors, and leadership. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, respond to urgent equipment and customer needs, and maintain accuracy while supporting real‑time operational activity.
College level coursework (100+) related to the position from an accredited institution is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of related work experience is required. Job‑entry placement will be determined based on a review of college transcripts and related work experience. Experience as a Customer Services Representative, Scheduling Coordinator, Operations Clerk, Administrative Clerk, or other similar position is preferred.
Experience as an Administrative Clerk, or other similar position is preferred. Experience working in a garage, maintenance, field services, transportation, utility fleet, or other high‑volume operational environment is beneficial.
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
