Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees and stakeholders by following security procedures and location policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout terminals, parking areas, access points and other locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential hazards; report observations per procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and emergencies, coordinating with airport personnel and responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and patrol records and assist the public professionally.

Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, suspicious items, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while providing professional directions and assistance to the public.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
