Apex Companies is seeking a Transportation Project Manager in Florida to lead complex infrastructure projects from pursuit through design, permitting, bidding, and construction, while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will mentor staff, coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers and designers, and support business development to grow the transportation practice.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects for FDOT, counties, municipalities, or other public-sector clients.
• Strong understanding of FDOT standards, project delivery processes, and transportation design.
• The ability to lead teams, develop staff, and build long-term client relationships.

This role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program.

Position Summary

At Apex, we design and deliver transportation projects that improve how communities move and connect. Our team works on roadway, drainage, multimodal, bridge-related, and utility infrastructure projects for FDOT, counties, municipalities, and other public agencies throughout Florida.

We're looking for a Transportation Project Manager who enjoys leading complex projects, building client relationships, mentoring staff, and solving real-world engineering challenges. This role provides the opportunity to manage projects from pursuit through design, permitting, bidding, and construction while working with a highly collaborative team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists.
