Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with 5–15 years of road and street design experience to lead a growing team. The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and strong client engagement across municipal, institutional, and private‑sector clients.

You will guide project delivery, coordinate PennDOT-related approvals, and help expand transportation services across the Mid-Atlantic region, with flexibility to base out of Northeast PA offices.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of road and street design experience, including PennDOT approval experience.
• PE license preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
• Technical knowledge and/or previous experience in transportation-related work

At Isett, you will be part of a firm that delivers civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering services, as well as surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Isett's transportation services department is looking for a Project Manager with 5 to 15 years of road and street design experience, including PennDOT approval experience, who is ready to take on meaningful projects and help guide the continued growth of the team.

In this position, you will help deliver a full range of transportation services for municipalities, school districts, and private-sector clients, including:

• Traffic-calming design
• Intersection design
• Roadway design
• Trail & Bikeway design
• Right-of-way conveyance coordination
• Existing pavement analysis
• Construction management
• PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permitting (HOP)
• Railroad Crossing Design

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar engineering software
• Technical knowledge and/or previous experience in transportation-related work
