Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 4–6 years of experience in transport facilities design.
• Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to transfer within 6 months.
• Knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads or AutoCAD/Civil 3D and related tools.
• Experience with Colorado DOT plan procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design transportation facilities including highways, interchanges, and multimodal facilities.
• Prepare studies, reports, plans, and construction packages.
• Support project managers with client relations and subconsultant coordination.
• Coordinate with project teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish and lead multidisciplinary design.
• Perform field observations when required.
