Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer in Colorado Springs to lead engineering teams on roadway projects. The role includes preparing and sealing designs, managing project scopes, and liaising with clients.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a PE license in Colorado, along with a minimum of 8 years of roadway design experience. A hybrid work environment is provided, balancing office presence with fieldwork based on project needs.

The role of a Project Engineer is to lead engineering teams on various-sized roadway projects. They will be responsible for preparing and sealing designs and ensuring the development and delivery of successful civil projects. A Project Engineer will provide direct supervision, act as an advisor, and be actively involved to meet schedules and resolve problems as they arise. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the scope and integration of subconsultants and employees. It is also anticipated that the Project Engineer supports business development and the delivery of proposals. Opportunity provides for a hybrid work environment. In-office presence is expected based on project needs, client meetings, and team collaboration.
