Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an intern to join our Transportation Advisory Services Team in multiple offices with preferred sites in Austin, Chicago, or Bellevue. The intern will help deliver integrated strategic communications products and services to transportation clients, including agencies and authorities.

The role focuses on content creation (websites, emails, videos, social media, presentations) and meeting management, with an emphasis on clear, accessible writing for stakeholders and lay

Qualifications

• Self-starter with the ability to contribute to various assignments across the transportation team.
• Teamwork-first approach, willing to learn and tackle challenging tasks.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Solid business writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver integrated strategic communications products and services to transportation clients.
• Assist with content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, and presentations.
• Support meeting management such as task forces and client events and craft collateral explaining technical content.
