Job summary

CDM Smith invites students in communications, political science, public policy, or related fields to join the Transportation Advisory Services Team as an intern. You will help deliver integrated strategic communications products for transportation clients, including departments of transportation and planning agencies.

You’ll assist with content creation across websites, videos, emails, social media, and presentations, and help manage meetings and client events.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and initiative with ability to meet deadlines and strong writing skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning or a related field.
• Interest in transportation and public communications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations, and meeting management.
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients and stakeholders.
