Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a patient transport professional to move patients and equipment safely and efficiently. You will support physicians, nurses, and other staff by delivering timely transports and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and care standards.
Responsibilities include assisting patients in and out of vehicles, monitoring conditions during transport, and adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
Provides safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner. Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction, proper utilization of body mechanics, and adheres to policies and procedures.
