Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Transportation to direct and coordinate dedicated delivery operations at the Burlington, NJ distribution center. You will supervise drivers, manage routes, ensure DOT/hazmat compliance, and oversee vehicle inspections and fleet maintenance.

You will coach and develop drivers, including accompanying them on routes for evaluation. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Certification may be required.
• Knowledge of DOT and hazmat regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads, directs and trains the delivery driver team.
• Ensures compliance with safety, hazmat and DOT requirements.
• Manages routes to achieve cost-efficient delivery operations.
• Oversees and performs routine vehicle inspections and maintains records.
• Coaches and develops delivery drivers, including on-route evaluations.
