The Minnesota Department of Transportation in Maple Grove is seeking a Transportation Materials Technician to manage purchasing and inventory of Mn/DOT materials. You will handle procurement, fixed assets, contract administration, specification, disposal, and parts distribution under the Materials Management Plan.
The role requires experience with Materials Management Systems, attention to detail, and the ability to pass background checks and education/license verifications before employment.

This position works out of the Maple Grove location and provides purchasing and inventory management of various commodities and Mn/DOT materials. It performs a broad range of work activities associated with purchasing, inventory management, fixed asset management, contract administration, specification, disposal, and parts, supplies, equipment, and materials disbursement within the guidelines of the Materials Management Plan.
