Job Summary The Cardinal Health Transportation team delivers products and services that create a differentiated experience for customers while relentlessly improving speed, reliability, and cost through supply chain optimization. We enable growth through the effective and efficient movement of over 45 million shipments annually, supporting the flow of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers. For suppliers, the transportation team coordinates both inbound and outbound lanes for Cardinal Health Distribution Centers. network. The 3PL Transportation team, plays a critical role in growing and managing third‑party logistics services. The team is instrumental for designing logistics solutions for customers and to go after new business, and to maintain service levels that represent a highly reliable, predictable transportation network. This includes transportation cost modeling, route and location optimization, cost‑to‑serve analysis, and fleet equipment strategy which are pivotal for go‑to‑market strategies and position Cardinal Health as a trusted 3PL partner. This role will lead a team which collaborates cross‑functionally with the 3PL Sales and Marketing teams, Account Management, Distribution, Systems, and Finance. Oversight of key cost savings initiatives further underscores the importance of the role, requiring direct stakeholder engagement, proactive issue resolution, and effective expectation management. This position serves as a strategic enabler of enterprise‑wide transformation and performance improvement.

Anticipated salary range: $89,000 - $139,920
