Job summary

ConGlobal CGI in Fort Worth is seeking a Transportation Manager to execute dispatch processes and partner with customers, dispatchers, and operations to develop daily plans and adjust as needed.

The role emphasizes analytic reporting, scorecards, and training new staff to meet safety standards. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours support and a competitive benefits package.

We are currently seeking a Transportation Manager to join our team.

The Transportation Manager will be responsible for executing the dispatch proc ess that supports Operations . The position will work w ith the customer, d ispatchers, and other operational center personnel to develop daily dispatch plans and make proactive recommendations on adjustments to facilitate the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative analysis and develop recommendations to optimize the processes and performance.
• Run statistical analysis, data modeling to identify key issues and recommend possible solutions including performing root cause analysis of business problems .
• Identify and recommend solution alternatives.
• Develop reports t o track key metrics and results.
• Develop scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Recruit and train new employees to the required competency levels and ensure all l egislative requirements are met.
• Maintain quality control and health and safety standards as directed by the company and customer.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' Transportation, Intermodal, and/or Logistics experience.
• Logistics experience within a trucking (CDL) background.
• Experience with managing d river performance and retention.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze numerical and w ritten information.
• Must be familiar with dispatch systems and technology.
• Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products.
• This position will require work ou tside of normal business hours.
• K nowledge of state and DOT regulations.
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification which includes a criminal background check and drug screening.
