Job summary

United Parcel Service Sweden Aktiebolag seeks a skilled professional to lead customer supply chain analyses and develop customized solutions. You will work with proprietary and third-party tools to shape transportation, distribution, inventory, and logistics strategies for UPS customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or Logistics/Supply Chain.
• Experience in database management, Supply Chain Logistics, or network modeling is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with database development and analysis is preferred.
• Consulting experience in the Supply Chain industry is preferred.
• Experience using Service Mapping/GIS applications such as ESRI is preferred.
• Experience with Supply Chain Logistics modeling tools such as Logic Net Plus or I-2 Strategist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops project plans based on customer feedback and assigns tasks to resources to ensure timely completion.
• Reviews documents to create work orders outlining solutions, tasks, and deliverables.
• Shares project documents with stakeholders to obtain agreement on costs and resources.
• Identifies and coordinates with all affected groups to manage project impact.
• Researches industry trends and best practices; develops training materials.
• Reports on project status, field activity, and training initiatives.

Job Description:

This position develops and implements solutions related to a customer's supply chain and develops recommendations to support customers' strategic decisions. This position utilizes various proprietary and third-party applications to perform analysis for developing transportation, distribution, logistics, inventory, and supply chain solutions. This position creates and provides customized supply chain solutions for UPS customers and generates consulting revenues. This position strengthens customer relationships by enabling UPS to be a single source provider of transportation and supply chain related needs and consulting. This position manages various types of supply chain and distribution analysis projects, provides subject matter expertise, and coaches team members and customer-facing counterparts.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews documents to create work orders outlining solutions to be developed, associated tasks to be performed, and deliverables to be provided.
• Forwards project documents to stakeholders to obtain agreement on costs and resources.
• Identifies and works with all affected groups and functions to manage project impact.
• Researches and evaluates industry trends and best practices.
• Provides support by developing training materials for related groups.
• Reports on project status, field resource activity, and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or International equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or Logistics/Supply Chain - Preferred
• Experience in database management, Supply Chain Logistics, or network modeling - Preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience in database development and analysis - Preferred
• Consulting experience in the Supply Chain industry - Preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,472/year in our lowest geographic market up to $171,228/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
